Saturday after work I got out on the Clark Fork with Chad and another friend Duncan. Usually after fishing trips, I get home and have the blog post written within an hour or two. Obviously not so with this trip.
We had an excellent time. Dunc and I both got in to some very nice fish, Chad did a great job with the boat, we enjoyed a beautiful sunset, a big hatch, a microburst narrowly missed us, and in general we had one of those experiences that reminds you why you choose to live in Missoula.
And that’s probably why it’s taken me a few days to get around to this post. With so much beauty in the country around me, between fishing trips with friends, bike trips, or hiking with my wife, sitting at a computer just hasn’t felt fulfilling in the least the last few days. I’m by no means shutting the blog down. Just nice to have things put into perspective like that on occasion.
Enjoy the pics. Then get out and remember why you love where you live.
